SimplifAI makes it possible to use artificial intelligence to translate radiological reports into language that is easy to understand, without requiring any medical expertise. We enable patients to better understand their findings, ask the right questions to the doctors treating them and actively participate in therapeutic measures.
The system also supports referring doctors in their communication with patients, making a valuable contribution to a good relationship and cooperation.
The project utilises natural language processing (NLP) methods and deep learning (DL) technologies. These allow clinical texts to be semantically analysed and provided with explanatory meta-information.
At World Direct, we contribute our in-depth expertise in the field of medical IT to define software architectures, programme functions and interfaces and develop the technical connection to the AI systems. Analyses and results of the findings can then be made easily and quickly accessible to doctors via our innovative radiology portal DICOM_share.
Empowering and involving patients is a key factor in modern healthcare policy, as the necessary knowledge on the part of those affected also leads to greater acceptance of therapeutic measures. This is why we want to utilise the potential of artificial intelligence for health-related issues with SimplifAI.
