World Direct at the Energy Congress 2022
The climate crisis and difficult market conditions are putting affordable energy supply at the centre of attention. An important component of the basic supply is rapidly becoming a key element for a future worth living. The Energy Congress 2022 offers a good platform to address these major challenges. We will be demonstrating on site how our "A1 Virtual Power Plant" approach makes a decisive contribution to stabilising the electricity grid.
World Direct delivers innovative solutions
The electricity grid of the future needs flexibility. The increased expansion of renewable energy sources, uncontrollable electricity production and geopolitical developments are putting a strain on our electricity grid and harbour a high risk of blackouts. Changing consumer behaviour and new technologies such as e-cars, individual PV systems and battery storage pose additional challenges for the energy supply. Innovative solutions such as A1 Virtual Power Plant counteract this over- and underproduction.
Digitally stabilising the electricity grid
With A1 VPP, we offer a flexible platform on which different decentralised systems can be pooled and controlled - not only classic flexibility systems, but also industry, ski resorts and private households. Our technology, which has been used successfully for many years, makes a significant contribution to Austria's security of supply.
